Gord, this really isn't a story per-se ... But, I'm a 36 yr old woman who is living with O.A. in my Right hip ( both hips really) but the pain is only in my right side. I noticed something wasn't right about 2 and a half yrs ago when I was laying in bed. At first the pain was more of an annoying ache.
As time went on and I Ignored it (like I do with most aches) I noticed that the ache was really starting to bother me more and more. It got to the point where it was getting impossible for me to sit comfortably. Enough was enough.... I called my dr. He sent me for a MRI and found out that what he thought I had was confirmed....I had O.A. I'm not sure what the future holds for me, I am currently taking 800mg of Ibuprofen 4x daily. I'm also not sure if there’s anything else I can do.... I've done the Hydro-cortisone shots and they haven't helped at all. Thanks for taking the time out to read this. "CJ"
